A few days after Maren was diagnosed, we received a supply of hospital vouchers sent from friends. Receiving this type of support touched us in many ways. We were not alone. Sending the vouchers showed that someone had our back and could support us from a far. Learning that the meal vouchers existed was a relief. Knowing you could meet your own needs by having a guest meal delivered while not having to leave your child was invaluable.

Maren’s Fierce Fighters has committed to providing a supply of meal vouchers to every family whose child is inpatient after receiving a new pediatric cancer diagnosis at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. CHOP estimates that at their facilities, 15 - 20 children are diagnosed each month with some form of pediatric cancer. The We Are With You program will provide $25 (5 meal vouchers) to each family.
